I’m back! With my top 5 products of 2025

I’ve been a little quiet here lately.

Not intentionally, and not because this stopped mattering, but because Q4 kind of took me out. Work was nonstop, childcare felt like a constant shuffle, and we hit that familiar stretch of back-to-back childhood illnesses that seem to happen every fall and winter combined with an insane work schedule that seemed to take no prisoners. At a certain point, I just had to focus on what was essential: my kids, my job, and our family.

Everything else got paused.

And honestly? I went back and forth a lot on what that pause meant. Was this something I should let go of? Was I forcing myself to keep something alive just because I said I would?

But even when I wasn’t posting, I was still thinking about this space and what I wanted it to be, how I wanted it to feel, and whether it still felt true to me. I don’t suddenly have clarity on everything, but I do know this: I want to keep going. Even if it’s imperfect. Even if I’m figuring it out as I go.

So consider this me easing back in.

To keep it simple (and fun), I thought I’d start with a tight roundup of the five new things I discovered in 2025 that truly earned a spot on my shelf.

Not long-standing holy grails I’ve used for years, but just newer finds that surprised me, stuck around, and that I reach for constantly.

My Top 5 New Finds of 2025

These are the things I’d rebuy without hesitation and would genuinely be annoyed to run out of.

A quiet overachieve that has all the next-gen ingredients to make a huge impact. Nothing flashy, just consistently better skin over time. Calmer, smoother, more resilient. The kind of product you don’t fully appreciate until you realize your skin just works better with it in your routine.

An essence that actually feels like it’s pulling its weight. Cushioning, plumping, and oddly comforting when my skin feels tired or flat. I reach for this more than I ever expected to.

Rich without being heavy, nourishing without feeling greasy. This is one of those moisturizers that’s just dare I say…perfect?! It brings out the glow when my skin feels stressed, depleted, or needs something reliable, which is most days these days. And has been hailed a dupe of the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream that I cannot justify purchasing.

My go-to when I want my skin to look better by morning (most nights lol). Plump, hydrated, rested-looking and a true overnight reset. It’s in my rotation with my tride and true Klairs sleeping mask.

Technically not a product, but absolutely worth including. I started using this after my NuFace broke, and so far I’m really impressed. I love how customizable the treatments are, and while it’s still early days, I’m excited to see the long-term results. It already feels like something I’ll stick with.

I’m keeping this list tight and only featuring the products I always want within arm’s reach — the ones I use nearly daily and don’t overthink. Because I love a roundup with purpose.

A quick thought before I go

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about routines, skincare and otherwise. Not in a “perfect system” way, but in a “showing up” way.

Your routine doesn’t have to be flawless to be effective. It just has to feel good enough that you keep coming back to it. The same applies here…and honestly, to most things in life.

If you ever feel overwhelmed by the constant hamster wheel of being a millennial working mom and trying to do everything perfectly, you’re not alone. I’m right there too, figuring it out as I go.

I keep reminding myself that perfection isn’t the goal. Showing up, continuing, and ending up somewhere better than where you started is more than enough.

I’m excited to do more of this in 2026 — the explainers, the deep dives, the product testing — and to keep navigating it together.

If you want to stick around, I’d love for you to subscribe.

More soon 🤍
